TILE INSERT shower drain is used to camouflage the drain with the same tile you are installing on the shower floor.

Drain Includes: 100% stainless steel channel body & grate, puller key, waterproofing membrane sheet around the drain flange (not required but included), cast iron base, hair trap, Installation Instruction.

Applications: Shower & bath, kitchen, pools, balconies, hotel rooms, gym, spa etc. Perfect for wheelchair access (ADA complaint) & barrier-free showers (walk in floor plans). Offset Outlet Linear Drain is used if joist is in the center of the shower opening and notching or drilling is not an option. If shower is set on 4 inch or more concrete and relocation of the drain outlet is costly. If the drain outlet already exists on the side of the shower. And other shower construction plans. Central vertical outlet linear drains also available (Consult a professional).

    The shower channel Grate is grade 16 gauge 304 stainless steel.
    Flow rate: at entrance of shower – 6.3GPM (0.4 l/s); against the wall – 9.5GPM (0.6 l/s).
    Bodies are fully welded and leak tested prior to dispatch.
    2″ diameter side outlet vertical outlet.
    Compatible with tiles up to 10mm depth (14mm lip).
